The Manx Dune Buggy body designed in 1964 is well known worldwide as being the original and the best. The Classic is East Coast's tribute to the Manx. Not many buggies lend themselves to every style of build as well as this, from classic off road, to lowered street, to full race buggy. The shape itself gives the buggy an enormous amount of strength.

The Bounty Hunter is another classic 70's Californian Buggy a completely original design. This awesome looking Buggy is also a short wheel base using the same length chassis as the Manx but requires a sub-frame to mount to the floor as it is not a full body tub.

The Prowler is a similar style buggy to the Manx but with subtle modifications and updating. It has a slightly shorter wheelbase than the Manx. Chassis must be shortened by 15.5 inches. The arches are wider (front 1.5" rear 2") which allows lowering and tyres with more width. The rear is more open than other buggies, fitter a larger engine with big carbs requires no cutting or reshaping. If the Prowler bonnet is not to your taste, then we can supply a combination of a Manx bonnet and bounty hunter screen for a whole new look. A standard Beetle fuel tank will fit under he bonnet and 2 battery boxes will go under the rear seat.

The Sidewinder Buggy was designed in 2005 by Mel Hubbard. A classic shape, with some modern touches. The rear valance above the engine is more open to allow access, as well as having more room to fit the larger UK number plates . Available with a choice of dashboards, either a standard 'Manx' type or the wider, flatter Sidewinder dash. The chassis for the Sidewinder needs to be shortened by 15.5 inches. This is the same as the old GP short wheel base buggies, making the it an easy swap. The rear seat area of the Manx is recessed for a battery and a spare wheel, but can simply be boarded over to fit a rear seat, leaving the battery in place and using the spare wheel well as a tool box. Body tubs mount to the floor in much the same way as the beetle body, so the original bolts and washers may come in handy.

The GT Long Wheel Base buggy body is designed to fit on an un-shortened VW beetle chassis, saving the shortening expense. 4 comfortable seats can be built in. We are working in association with Kingfisher Kustoms and GT Mouldings. The GT is now offered with a Classic-style bonnet and integral dash so that the standard buggy windscreen and alloy frame can be used .
